Veggies time !!!

Today, I want to share the patterns of those cute veggies ^^, happy to make and funny to play...lets get started!!

Abbreviation

Sc = single crochet

Dc = double crochet

Trc = triple crochet

Ch = chain

St = stitch

BLO = back loop only

FLO = front loop only

Beg = begin

Rnd = round

INC = increase

DC= decrease = 2 single crochet together = 2sctog

Sl st = slip stitch

Material

2.0 mm hook

I used 2.0mm cotton thread to make these patterns

EGGPLANT with purple

ch 2. 

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch ( this step you can use magic ring technique). Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed. 

Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around = INC ( 12 sts) 

Rnd 3: ( 1 sc crochet in next st, inc) x 6 times - 18 sts. 

Rnd 4: (2 sc in next 2 st, inc) x 6 – 24 sts. 

Rnd 5: (3 sc in next 3 st, inc) x 6 – 30 sts. 

Rnds 6 -14: Sc in each st around. 

Rnd 15: (sc in each of the next 8 sts, dec) x 3 – 27 sts. 

Rnd 16: Sc in each st around. 

Rnd 17: (sc in each of the next 7 sts, dec) x 3 – 24 sts. 

Rnd 18: Sc in each st around. 

Rnd 19: (sc in each of the next 6 sts, dec) x 3 – 21 sts. 

Rnd 20: Sc in each st around.  

Rnd 21: (sc in each of the next 5 sts, dec) x 3 – 18 sts. 

Rnds 22-24: Sc in each st around.  Stuff the eggplant

Rnd 25: ( sc, dec) x 6 times – 12 sts. 

Rnd 26:  DEC around – 6 sts.  Fasten off.  Leave a long tail to sew

Sew 6 sc together

STEM  With green, any kind of green you like ^^

ch 2. 

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.

Rnd 5: INC around ( two sc in each stitch) – 12 sts.

Worked in the round in a circle. Start by making a magic ring or chain two –

Rnd 6: Work 1 sc in every sc.
Rnd 7: ( 4 sc in next 4 st, inc) x 6 – 36 sts
Rnd 8-10: Work 1 sc in every sc.
Rnd 11: (sc in each of the next 4 sts, dec) x 6 – 30 sts. 

Rnd 12: (sc in each of the next 3 sts, dec) x 6 – 24 sts.  .
Rnd 13: (sc in each of the next 2 sts, dec) x 6 – 18 sts.

Rnd 15: DEC around, fasten off, leave a long tail to sew

Sew the last 6 sc together with thread end.

Step 1 : Ch 2, 10 sc in the 2^nd chain from hook, sl st

Step 2 : chain 5 sc at 2^nd from hook, 2 hdc in next two sts, dc, sl st to the next single crochet from step 1 --- repeat this 4 more time to finish the circle

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring ( or chain 2, 6 sc at the 2^nd chain from hook).

Rnd 4: inc around – 18 sts.

Rnd 5: (sc in next 2 sts, inc) x 6 – 24 sts.

Corn body: yellow yarn

To make this corn, I use popcorn stitch but in single crochet version, you need to know how to make a popcorn stitch to make this corn

With this corn, we crochet 3 sc in one stitch an use popcorn stitch technique to make a popcorn stitch.

Pop= popcorn stitch

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring

Rnd 2 : (sc, inc) x 3 – 9 sts.

Rnd 3 : (sc in next 2 sts, inc) x 3 – 12 sts.

Rnd 4 : (sc in next 3 sts, inc) x 3 – 15 sts.

Rnd 5 : sc in each sts around.

Rnd 6 : (sc4, inc) x 3 – 18 sts.

Rnd 7-8 : pop around. From now on, we replace single crochet by pop st, which means when we increase, we make two pop st in one st

Rnd 9 : (pop in next 5 sts, inc) x 3 – 21 sts.

Rnd 10 : pop around.

Rnd 11 : (pop in next 6 sts, inc) x 3 – 24 sts.

Rnd 12-20 : pop around

Rnd 21: (pop in next 2, dec pop) x 6 – 18 sts.

Rnd 22: (pop, dec pop) x 6 – 12 sts. Change to green yarn

Rnd 23: sc in FLO around – 12 sts

Rnd 24: sc in both loop around – 12 sts

Rnd 25: dec around – 6 sts

Corn leaves ( make 3) green yarn

Ldc = linked double crochet

Rnd 1: ch 4, ldc in 4^th chain from hook.

Rnd 2: ch 3, turn, ldc inc, ldc.

Rnd 3: ch 3, turn, ldc inc 2 times, ldc.

Rnd 4: ch3, turn, ldc in the same sts, ldc in next 4 sts, 2 ldc in last.

Rnd 5: ch3, turn, ldc in the same sts, ldc in next 6 sts, 2 ldc in last.

Rnd 6: ch3, turn, ldc in the same sts, ldc in next 8 sts, 2 ldc in last.

Rnd 7: ch3, turn, ldc across.

Rnd 8: ch3, turn, ldc in the same sts, ldc in next 10 sts, 2 ldc in last.

Rnd 9-11: ch3, turn, ldc across.

Rnd 12: Ch 3 turn, skip one st, ldc in next 10 sts, skip one st, ldc in last.

Rnd 13: ldc 2 together in next 2 sts, do it 6 times.

Fasten off, leave long tail to sew leaves to the body.

Pumpkin

This pumpkin i used the pattern from dsmousebear
